I am sharing with you an important MCA Circular on procedure for allotment of Director Identification Number (DIN) under Companies Act, 1956. PAN is made mandatory to obtain new DIN for all Indian Nationals.
Also, Registration of PAN for existing DIN is compulsory. Last date for registration of PAN is 31-05-2011 by filing DIN 4, otherwise existing DINs may not be active.
