3 tips for Planning an Overnight Stay in London

London is a marvellous place to visit, whether you’re settling down for a few months or merely passing through on an overnight stay. Because London  is such a vibrant, busy city then you’ll probably benefit from planning an overnight stay in advance, whether this is a leisure or business trip.

One thing that London is not short of is hotels. There are hotels all around London, suitable for all different budgets ranging from hostels to luxury or boutique hotels. Why not make your overnight stay a great hotel break in London, and choose to live it up for the night in one of the London’s landmark hotels.

London is a multi-faceted city, and there is an infinitude of things to see and do. Different boroughs of London have very different flavours, and so you might want to look into this in advance. Somewhere like Camden is very trendy and great for younger visitors, whereas the Bloomsbury area is home to the Museum mile, with many cultural attractions on show.

It’s definitely worth thinking carefully about travel. London is one of the busiest cities in the world and this puts pressure on the transport system. However, it also has arguably the best public transport system in the world, the tube. Whilst the tube can be a lot of fun it can be hard to understand for visitors. Also, there are other things to consider such as the congestion charge.
