Last summer was one of the wettest on record, and this year has already thrown at us more snow than we knew what to do with. As such, it seems that rather than having wetter periods and drier periods throughout the year, we are now facing a constant onslaught of wet weather, leaving many of us struggling to keep our homes or businesses safe.
From serious floods, to broken guttering and damage to the foundations of buildings, excessive rainfall is more than just a social hindrance. Whilst we are often less than excited by the prospect of venturing out into the rain, brollies and cars allow us to limit the effect excessive rain or snow have on our person, but our buildings are very much different.
